Hi All; Christian Cuff is having a benefit show, Saturday night, 7:30 @ the Frontier in Brunswick, ME. Christian's brother, Jacob, is receiving a bone marrow transplant Friday, and will first need our prayers. The show Saturday will raise money that will aid Jacob as he recovers. Christian will be playing with his band, Carter Ruff will be present to play some tasty slide, and I will add what I can to this worthy cause. I want to thank the Franco and Carol Dilley from Bates College for a wonderful production at the historic Franco this Saturday night. I had the the lovely Debi Irons dance to one of my songs, and the the combination of her and the sound of this 1927 church was magic! Thanks to technical director Richard Martin and his able crew who along with stage manager Hannah Miller made our work easy and seamless. If you are someone who has not visited the Franco-American Cultural Center in Lewiston. ME, do yourself the favor! You won't regret it. To Debi Irons, "You are the Best!! cheers - t

On my way back from MS, stopping in Nashville for a coupla' days to catch up with friends and do a little playing.  If you are in the the Gallatin area tonight, Danny Parks and the New Soul Jazz Quartet have kindly asked me to bring the songs that we recently recorded on stage @ The Whipporwill tonight from 7-10PM.  The Whipporwill has good food and drink, and there is always a nice crowd to listen to the fine music of Mr. Parks and friends.  So, come on down, stay a while and I hope to see you there. 

While in Helena AK, i met a fellow who was riding his bicycle, beginning at the headwaters of the MIssisssippi River to its end in LA.  Pete Weatherhead had been on the road for 16 days when i ran into him. The purpose for doing this was two-fold; one,  to fulfill the last wish of his wife and distribute her ashes along the length of the mighty river and two, to raise money for Halton Haven Hospice who had so lovingly cared for her.  You can follow Pete's journeys at www.robineldridge.co.uk and if you can, please make a donation. Hi All; wanted to catch you up on my travels south! Left ME early Sunday, sunrise over NYC, thru the beautiful NJ countryside, ending up in WINCHESTER VA. Met some old friends outside Roanoke and did a little country pickin'.  Am in TN now, recording tracks for the new ep due out in the Fall. 80's today in Nashville, on to the delta Thursday, visit the Riverside and my friends Ratt, Joyce and Z, get some mud on my feet . Hope this finds you all well.
